FAQs

  • Cosmic Cadence Bodywork is located just 10 minutes off the Charleston peninsula. We are quaintly nestled inside of Herbal Passion apothecary. Once you’ve parked, look for the circular sign and the purple door on Daniel Street, right off of Savannah Highway. Come on into the apothecary and Grace will greet you!

  • YES! There is free, off-street parking along both sides of Daniel Street. If all the spots happen to be taken, you can safely park in the South State Bank parking lot located at 855 Savannah Hwy.

  • This is a multi-part response because it depends on your body and intention behind receiving massage therapy. I do offer individualized packages for suggested guidance around frequency of sessions.

Think of your body like a vehicle that requires regular maintenance. Generally, once a month is my suggestion for care. But if you are experiencing acute or chronic pain/tension, I recommend coming more frequently until the problem is resolved.

  • Cosmic Cadence Bodywork is a small, one-woman operation. So while I do not offer couples massage in studio, I can accommodate couples mobile massages (in home) with some notice and with the help of a thoughtfully selected massage therapist in the area.

  • Rather than labeling what I offer as “massage,” I prefer the term bodywork as it more broadly encompasses the diverse healing arts practices I integrate into sessions. The term is more holistic in nature, addressing the interconnectedness of body, mind, and emotions.

  • Grace studied at Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, which is an institution devoted to Traditional Chinese Medicine. She specializes in integrating Eastern practices such as Tui Na, Thai Massage, and Shiatsu with Western practices like myofasical release and deep tissue.
